John Deere Lawn Tractor 185 PTO
I have a John Deere Lawn Tractor 185 and when I engage the PTO switch the clutch turns the blades. The problem is it will run a couple minutes, the wires to the switch get hot and it will shut down. The battery light is also on while the PTO is engaged. I can leave the PTO switch on and the engine is still running and in a minute or two, the clutch to the PTO will start again. I am not really sure what the problem might be. Has anyone had this problem before?
