You will need to trace down the wiring looking for bare wires, and other shorts Will need to go from the battery/solenoid depending where the wire come off of to supply power to the tractor. through the fuse, to the key switch, and through safety switches, back to the solenoid. and the wiring to the fuel solenoid on the carb if you have one.
