Milorganite. It's reasonably priced, & does a bang up job of making green. No watering in, just spread it & see what happens.

Humm.gif How to make a lawn super dark green without using the traditional fertilizers. Now I'm serious when I say this but they tell me Dark Beer works well but that's rather expensive. If I wanted a seriously dark green Lawn I'd go to the feed store and buy some liquid chicken **** and spray my lawn and you'll have a seriously dark green lawn.

HI all

I think that liquid feritlizer would work good but don't use dry $h*t you will get all the weed that was in the food they feed the animals with . Those weed seed have to come out some where and guess where they landed in your green lawn.:licking::laughing:

Liquid Iron works well on Fescue..OR you could always have it painted green  There is a co. in Charlotte NC (area I'm from) that will actually spray your yard green because of the drought conditions and water restrictions in place the last couple years. ALot of lawns looking pretty bad, burnt up. Most should be in good shape now tho.

You can buy liquid fert with green die in it. Every golf course apples it before a PGA tour

(( racing is the only sport that you need two balls ))

This is true. One day (if I ever can get settled) my dream is to have a nice home and yard that reflects the look of a golf course..maybe on 2 acres or so. That would be so sweet.

You've got some options..Hope you win the neighborhood contest!
