Poulan Ignition switch

I had to replace the ignition switch on my poulan riding mower because the original one wore out, specifically the actual key-turning mechanism. I simply unplugged the old switch bought a new one from Amazon.com, and when I plugged the new one in (it fits perfectly and everything), I get no response when I turn the key... Is there a safety switch or a fuse I should check? Thanks...

I can think of a few things that May cause that.... BUT I do hope You will post back with what it Actually was... There could be someone else that has the same mistake in the future... :smile:KennyV
