I bought this tractor the other day and I think the oil pump is out. It still runs fine but the oil pressure light it on. I replaced the oil filter, started it and let it run for 30-60 seconds, shut it down and pulled the filter and it was still dry, no oil.
Has anyone worked on one of these motors before? Cub 3205 and JD445 are two I'm sure have it.
Any advice here?
I only paid 500$ for the tractor so hopefully I can salvage the deal and not go upside down on it.
The hydro and hydraulic deck lift, power steering, and everything else appears to work fine.
