age of my craftsman tractor.

My father inlaw gave me his old craftsman lawn tractor. I'm trying to find parts for it and the age of it .
The model # is 131.96270 engine # is 143.196012 6hp .

whats the serial number on the mower it should be 6 numbers the first two will be the month of manufacture the second two are the day of manufacture and the last two will be the year of manufacture

Go to the Sears Parts Direct website(link below) and put the 13196270 in the search box and click on Model# search in the Type Of Search. It'll bring up that Craftsman 26" mower with illustrations and part#'s. You may even be able to find and download a manual if you need one.

no manual or date. but i got the part numbers i need . axle 58477 n/a damn lol and bearings 62346 they are available .
