Working on a Husqvarna blower (model 132HBV) . It is very difficult to start, always has according to owner. He reported when he would get it running it would run for about 5 minutes and die. It had sat unused for about a year. It has good compression and spark. Initially I noticed the fuel line was rotten. Replaced the fuel line. Cleaned fuel tank and put fresh gas in.The only way I could get it to start was to place fuel in directly in the cylinder. It would run for about 5 minutes and die just as the owner had told me. Replaced carb gaskets and cleaned the carb,,,,same thing. Any suggestions?

Our common solution to this problem, if rebuilding carb does not wort, replace the carb. Many are very cheap.

I'd try checking the spark arresting screen on the muffler and cleaning it first before you spend anymore money.
