One of the wires on the PTO has broken off flush with the PTO. Is there any way to repair this?

I was hoping for better news, but I was afraid that might be the answer.

Maybe not. Is there a Warner number on the clutch? Most (not all) have a plug that plugs into the clutch. It's possible that the broken wire you refer to is only broken at the recepticle that plugs into your clutch. Do you have the Warner clutch number? There should be a small white sticker on the outside of the clutch.

It must not be a Warner. No plug at the PTO only two wires coming out of small plastic area on the clutch. I did a temporary fix by removing some of the plastic to expose the wires and then soldered in a pig tail to make the connection to the switch. Has worked until now, but finally pulled out. I see a PTO on Amazon 917-04163A. Will that fit my tractor?
