loss of power and black smoke and cutting out .how many fuel filters are there

That is a nice little 3 cylinder diesel Kubota mower...
Black smoke and reduced power indicates a restriction in the AIR filters... :smile:KennyV

Two fuel filters. One underneath. Kenny is correct, black smoke always means too much fuel or not enough air. Make sure that you clean the inside of the canister cover.

One of those fuel filters is a water separator.

I think I may be wrong on the number of fuel filters. The B series has two filters. I believe the G series only has one, and there may or may not be a water separator. I forgot to check when I went into work today, I'll try to remember tomorrow. Sorry for the incorrect info.

I remembered to check today at work. G1900 has two fuel filters, one on each side of the fuel pump. No water separator. Make sure you install them in the correct direction. Sorry about being so unsure about my posts. Good luck.
