Adjusting Engine RPM Yard-Man by MTD Model 12A-26MB755 with 1P65M0 MTD Engine

Can anyone help me with the engine RPM adjustment on my Yard-Man by MTD Model 12A-26MB755 with 1P65M0 MTD Engine. I just picked this up with another Ryobi mower and Bolens edger both with Briggs and Stratton engines that I am familiar with, from a garage sale for $35 for the lot. Not familiar with the China made engine that is on the Yard-Man mower. I got it running with a carb clean and flush the gas tank, but when it is running the engine RPM is real low. Thanks in advance.

there should be a metal tab that the throttle spring hooks to if so bent it away from the linkage it was probably bent mowing under bushes but if you move the tab away from the throttle then it wil pull the throttle open more good luck

Just checked it and it is not bent but I moved in towards the front of the mower and rpm picked up. Thanks for your help!!!!!!
