Dear experienced ones, when does a mower become economical to buy? For example, I imagine push mowers to be economical for small areas. The trimmer would be great for medium-sized ones. The ride-on mower would be great for large areas. Lastly, tractor types would be for very large areas. So, my question now is, how many acres, more or less, would constitute "large" or "medium" or "small" in my example?

Just wondering :)

I think you are right... as to actual size... If you aim at getting something that allows you to finish what you are doing in less then 2 to 3 hours ... it's about right... until you get to a tractor size. Then it's most likely 'try to get most of it done in a day or two'... sometimes longer.. :smile:KennyV
