Purchased this in May of 2011. I'm using it obviously to mow, but also wanted the 24hp to pull 40 gallon roller (18" x 36"), and other attachments. The 24hp was about $50 cheaper on sale than the ~21HP that were also on sale. I have used the roller going uphill and downhill a 10% grade @ 45' in the front yard, over a 140' frontage. It was more than capable, without much problems, even if going in reverse up hill (pushing 330 pound behind it with the roller). No complaints with mowing deck either.

Well I hope your 24 Intek is somehow cooler running than mine. With just a 3 bagger system and slight grade it managed to self destsruct in the 2nd year. My take is due to over heat. You do not see it coming even with superior maintenance. Put some kind of engine temp gauge on it.
