I have a cub cadet zero turn lawn mower and the blades are having issues. When I mow the pto stays on until I put it in reverse it has a safety feature that turns the blades off which Is fine but when I try and go forward agian the blades have a hesitation before coming on, sometimes it takes 5 seconds other times it will take over a minute. Also someone told me they saw a bunch of sparks coming from the clutch is there any cheap fixes or do I need to replace the clutch?

Agree, will probably need a new clutch. Shop around, price vary greatly.

What kind of Z turn model is it. My M72 Tank from Cub Cadet mows both forward and backward and unless you get off the seat or shut down the PTO the mower continues to run. Maybe the non commercials don't have this feature?
