I broke the small wire on coil right at the plastic insulation so have no stub to solder a wire on. Replacing coil is confusing because some of these systems have been replaced with a solid state system. I would like to replace coil only. Anyone have part number for original to replace coil...

I have f525 with bad rod and crank, can i pull the engine block without removing the whole Kawasaki unitized power system from the chassis? Can I leave the tranny part in the chassis, and lift out engine section with block and crank? Ron

I ohms tested coil: OK. Anyone know of igniter test? Should I have spark with primary coil wire off. I know this wire intende to ground out primary side to stop engine but it also goes to igniter. No spark with primary wire off. Do I need connection to igniter to have spark?
