    Engine 318 charging issue

    I am working on a JD 318 with Onan engine. The battery light is on all the time. I'm assuming this is a charging issue. Can someone give me an idea where to start looking?

    Recent 322 Owner

    I recently purchased a JD 322. Gave my 317 which I've had for over 20 years to my son. The 322 is an impressive machine. Just finished rebuilding the carburetor. Its amazing the thing ran at all as the carb bowl was full of black soot like substance.
