is it possible to bench test a hydrostat transaxle? I have recently aquired a couple that I could not test on the tractor. one is a Spicer 4900-3 (93264) other is tuff torq K51b also the spicer unit has a resivoir with a removable lid, after removing the lid it has just a little bit of fluid...

I had a 31p677-0804-b2 with dual circuit alternator with no regulator I can find, it has the red wire with the diode and the black wire for headlights. I have installed a 303777-1147-E1 that has the alternator with the 691185 regulator my question is, the 691185 only has the one wire output...

does anybody know if a craftsman 24441 snow plow will work on a 2012 MTD lawn tractor? I can get the plow/wheel weights and chains for $150 on MTD's website it lists a snow blower for it but no plow option thanks for your help Scott

I just picked up a 2012 mastercut by MTD 13AJ795S (sold at Farm and Fleet) it starts up good, seems to run fine, maybe a little rough will drive around fine. problem is, engine running, not moving, full throttle, engage blades and runs a little more rough, start moving and the engine will die...
