Need to take off flywheel. Does bolt turn counter clockwise or clockwise? How do you hold flywheel from turning while removing bolt.

Rectifer heated up and melted wires. Bought new one and installed . After using same thing happened, disconnected battery to save rectifer. What could be causing this.
