will the deck from a 2048 fit on a 1742 Scotts JD? our 2048 motor went out and im looking at a 1742 . it has no deck. our deck from the 2048 is perfect. will our 48 deck fit on the 1742 model Scotts JD.? I could take it and fit. but it's a 2 hour drive. so I would rather find out from you guys...

I changed the oil and filter on my mower and was riding it when all of a sudden it started reveing on high speed. I can pull up on the governor lever/idil and it will rev normal until I let go, then it Revs like a bat out of hell. What could be the issue? Can I loosen the screw on the governor...

does anyone know the carb adjustments for the carb on a BV 165 blower/vac? it was running a little rough so I adjusted the screws all the way in and then 2 turns out, and now it wont start. what are the proper " turns" so it will start, so I can finish adjusting it? it seemed as though I had to...
