Why not trim the fender? It would also make it easier to take the filter off. And don’t say it….oooo, dirt might get thru there or mud…..Phtttttttttttttt……I like it….

Also check EVERY nut and bolt connection. And I mean every one! I’ve have found both frame rails loose, foot plate, front cross beam, trans bolts, even rear frame bolts loose.
