    need carburetor

I have Briggs engine model 9212 type 0121 01 code 9409 1203 and apparently it is obsolete. Does anyone know if another carb will fit this engine or what the number of the stock carburetor is. If I have this information I can do some more searching. Thanks

    squash & zucchini

My squash plants have done very well. Plants are large and lots of bloom. My problem is that something is cutting the blooms off. There will be lots of nice blooms and the next day they are gone. We have tried slug bait and seven dust but it keeps happening. Anyone have any idea what could be...

    Cheap carbs

I have a tiller and chipper that have Tecumseh engines. I need carbs for both engines and I have been looking online. I noticed that several vendors are offering carbs at a very low price. These are made in China and are much cheaper. I know you get what you pay for but has anyone tried these?

    axle shaft snap rings

I just replaced the bushings and seals on my Troy-bilt horse tiller and the first time I took it out the axle slid all the way to the side. I installed new snap rings and I am sure that they were seated. It did not seem that the axle was worn in that area. Did I miss something? Thanks, Pete

    BX 1500 steering

The steering on my BX1500 seems to have a lot of play. I can be going along and it seems to wander off in one direction or the other. It is really hard, if not impossible to keep in in a straight line. Any suggestion? Thanks, Pete

    1/2 moon key

I posted before about replacing the axle seals and bushings on my horse tiller. things were going along pretty good until i lost the keys down in the transmission. oil

I just bought a Craftsman mower model 247.370101 with a B&G 5.5 hp engine s/n 14 1203 51 1265. The mower did not have a manual or oil and the people I bought it from where not sure what kind of oil to use. (I bought it on sale from a Sears store that is going out of business) I have always...

    long distance belt trouble

My grandson is having trouble with his craftsman mower belt. He said he was mowing his grass and the mower just quit moving. The problem is with the belt or pulley. Problem is that I am 300 miles away and cannot see what it is doing. It would be very helpful if I could find a diagram of the...

    go kart woes

The grandkids are in for a few days and were looking forward to riding the go karts but both of them are down. One has a Tecumseh 5 hp model OH50. The primer bubble isn't working and when I give it a shot of carb cleaner and pull it a few (or more than a few) and open the throttle it will...

    transmission gear removal

I lost the hi-pro key in the transmission (there is no limit to my incompetence) and cannot get it out. I have tried magnets and now I have one of those broke off in there. I can't raise the gears enough to reach them. I guess I am going to have to remove the worm shaft to get everything out...

    bx1500 front loader

I live in SW VA and would like to find a used front loader for my BX1500. I can't justify the $3200 cost for a tractor as old as mine and I am too cheap to buy a new one. Appreciate any information.

    Tiller axle shims

I am new so be gentle. I have a 70's model Horse tiller and the axle moves about 1/2 an or more inch side to side. I am going to order shims to correct this but I thought that this was a bit much movement to fix with the size of the shims in the parts book. Do I have another problem that should...
