Toro ss4260 oil change - drain setup !

I would love to know which imbecile designed the oil drain system and where they got their mail order engineering degree. It's a level of dumbassery I've almost never seen. You slip a hose onto the barbed tee fitting (in cramped space) open the long plug, etc etc.... I'm thinking of replumbing...

Toro 4260 - Kawasaki FR651V acts like it's running out of fuel

2011 model. It starts up and runs fine. After a while, it's starts to sputter and tries to die. It sounds exactly like my generator or pressure washer when I shut them down by running the carburetor dry. That's why I think it's a fuel issue (although you can never rule out ignition). About 2 out...

Timecutter 4260: where to buy replacement - front wheel assembly

Hello. I need to replace one front wheel and tire. The Toro distributor wants $100 for the wheel and $100 for the tire! I see lots of options out there from mower parts suppliers. Anyone know of a good source? I'll buy 2 if I need to get a matched set.

TC SS4260 mower deck bearings growling

Well, since they were not "grease-able" I figured they would not last that long. I've had it for 6 years. As soon as I engage the mower, there's a lot of growling /rumbling. I assume its the bearings /spindles that drive the blades - whatever the right name is. Anyone replace these?

    timecutter hub grease zerts........

Mine is an SS 4260, 2 years old. I'm pretty sure the (blade / rotor) hubs can't be greased. Has anyone ever drilled and tapped them and added grease zerts ?

Timecutter SS4260: a couple of maint. questions

I bought it last summer and LOVE it! I have already had to grease the front wheel bearings (using the grease zert) a couple of time because I could hear it squealing. 1. Do I need to grease anything else? What about the blade hubs? 2. what is the rec tire pressueres F/R ? 3. Is there a way to...
