    Idle rpm

    Have a Briggs model 140000 series 1000. I have the high rpm at 3500, but can't get the idle rpm below about 2400 rpms. I have the the idle screw turned all the way out. Should the idle be at 1750? Anyone know of a way to lower the idle without changing the top speed? Thanks all.
