11A-A2SD791 CMXGMAM2703840 Mower starts fine when cold but after I shut it off, it will not start again until extremely cold. Coil is good, carb is new, compression is good. I tested the choke with my torch, the spring does move the linkeage enough to close the choke plate. I think I have...

B&S Model No. 128M02-0952-F1 Mower starts easily, but when restarting after sitting for a minute or so, it backfires through the exhaust. It doesn't do it if the mower sits for 10 minutes or so. The engine runs fine otherwise and always starts easily. The backfire happens even before the...

    21" Craftsman Mulching Mower

Mower is hard to start: I rebuilt the carb, new air filter, new spark plug, the coil checks out fine with a spark tester and with my multi meter. I have cleaned out the gas tank and the fuel line. After it does start and runs for a while, it re starts without issue. The primer bulb looks...

Motor stumbles when gas moves around in tank

Husqvarna Model 060311M 023782 After carburetor replacement, the engine would surge. I removed the idle jet from the carb and drilled it out with a very fine drill bit. This corrected the idle surge. New problem is that when I push the mower back and forth quickly, or when I come to a stop...

Recoil hard to pull, compression is at 40lbs.

Craftsman 6.75 motor. The pull cord is extremely hard to pull (the break is not touching the flywheel) and compression is at 40lbs. Cannot start mower. I'm guessing there is internal damage = throw it away? Thoughts? Thanks,

Troy Bilt Recoil - B&S Engine

I picked up a Troy Bilt Model # 11A-A26M066. The recoil cord would not rewind. I took the housing off and found that the retainer that kept the Ratchet Pawls in place was broken. I replaced the retainer, but now, at times, only one Pawl spins out to engage the flywheel. The other pawl, doesn't...

Mower deck Husqvarna - Blade hitting the deck

When tilting the mower while running and cutting the grass, the blade is hitting the underside of the deck. The deck is not rusted at all and the blade is installed correctly and I don't think the blade is bent. Should I just bend the blade equally to create more space between the blade and...
