    Briggs 12J802-1753-E1 crank timing mark location

    Hello, Im trying to install a new camshaft into a Briggs 12J802-1753-E1, and I dont see a timing mark on the crank, I took this appart long ago. Am I supposed to use the key location for the crank gear as the point to align with the camshaft? Thanks

    Engine transplant

    I have a JA65 with a Briggs 12J802-1753-E1 motor that has a bad camshaft. I found a running 126T02-0675-B2 for $25.00 Not sure if it would be a direct "plug and play" replacement or not. Anybody out there know? Thanks
