    Exmark Laser Z - No power - feels like no spark advance

    Exmark Laser Z - starts fine and throttle's up fine, but doesn't have any power when trying to go up a slight incline without mower engaged. I have checked both plugs.     Check the fuel bowl - fuel shutoff solenoid on the bottom of the carburetor. They get weak and are spring loaded to shut off the fuel even if they have the 12 volts ( with key on ) Some are made in pieces so you might be able to unscrew it, take the pin part out the screw it back in and try...

    Repairs Exmark Lazer will not start when warm

    If it cranks but won't start, It could be a faulty fuel shutoff solenoid on the bottom of the float bowl on the carburetor. The windings go bad in the solenoid and it shuts the fuel off, even if the 12 volt feed to it has 12 volts while key is on ! Some of them are assembled in separate pieces...
