Recoil Start Gold Series LB
Recoil Starter on model 10552 LB broke loose from shroud (rivets worn) and damaged pawls. Part search for this Gold Series mower showed NLA. Gambled and orderd Silver Series part from same year. It fits. Slight difference in materials, but solved my problem. $17 EBay -

Lawn Boy 10552 Where Does Primer Line Attach
Found a recoil starter to fit my Gold Series 10552. When I removed the cover the primer hose detached from the carburetor. Can't find info anwhere on where the primer hose attaches. Thanks for the help Chuter -

I own a Lawn Boy Model 10552; Serial 23000-6713. Today the recoil starter mechanism broke. Rivets wore through, device was mis-aligned, broke the "dogs", (the two levers that pop out to engage the starter cup.) Part number is 99-6713. Numerous sites list this part as discontinued. Would...
