Found a snapper today. The motor and deck were bad. So he said just take it. Cant beat that. I have 15 hp motor ready for it and a good deck for it too.

Im looking for original snapper decal for rear engine rider. The one with black letters with white background. Ace Hardware got the wrong ones twice. I have seen them on Partstree.com There part numberwas changed too. Any ideas there?

I took apart the carb and cleaned everything possible, but its still running terrible all of a sudden. I adjusted the carb too. It will run for a second, but you have to choke it to keep it running like its running out of fuel. Maybe a rebuild kit for carb may be the answer. Any ideas I havent...

I just cant turn a snapper down. I got this 33 in extra tough from my father in law today. It needs some carb work but hopefully an easy fix

Waiting on snapper decal to come in. Im goin to paint the motor with high temp paint. Im thinking black, but I might go with the white. What do y'all think?

Found an extra tough snapper today. I just had to bring it home. This is the first time I've seen one if these.

Thanks snapperfreak I got the motor goin. It cuts pretty good so far still needs some work though. This motor starts and runs descent when you pull start it. I put a good starter on it, but the starter gets stuck in flywheel any ideas?

Thanks. This has been a rough build so far. I have an 8 horse that I think I can get goin for it. Im gonna sell this one when I'm finished. The wife says I have enough toys :(

Finally had some free time to work on it. The bad news is the motor is shot :( Also the deck is so old the blade height adjustment is on the right instead of the left.

I made some progress today. Still a lot to be done. Im gonna sell this one in a yard sale in a couple of weeks

Im running out of room. Haha. This one is in the worst shape. It make take awhile but I've done good so far. This is a 76 model with 8 horse motor. I will hopefully get the 10 horse goin and put it on. I love this hobby I have!

Yes it was spray on from tsc. Its not perfect snapper red but its stronger than the krylon. My granddad used to build snappers in Florida. He would run them all year too. By the way I will get the exact brand of paint for ya. I remember its a tractor paint.

Its amazing what people get rid of.

Does anyone know another brand of paint other than krylon that matches snapper red. The krylon cherry red just isnt holding up too good yhanks
