    I have a question. Does this mower require battery power to run the coils. If It does I would check to see if the power supplying the coils has a resistance build up. I have a craftsman GT 6000 land tractor and when the main fuse blows it will kill the mower.

    You Sure that it's compression or is something broken in the engine. I know some of these engines can have a broken camshaft pressure release. But in that case it's hard to turn over but you can find still turn the engine over with a socket rinch. Are you sure something is not in the cylinder...

    I would get someone to help hold the hose and back up rinch. Then use a impact rinch on the cap on the end of the hose.

    A fuel filter can be difficult to remove sometimes. But don't use heat. You can pry with a screwdriver in between the filter and the hose. I've found if you hold the hose and twist the filter that sometimes works. And if you have enough fuel line I would just cut the lines off from the filter...
