19 horse Briggs & Stratton will only run with choke half on

Sounds like the engine is sucking too much air or starving for fuel. You changed the carb so it's not that. Check fuel filter and gas line and tank (trash in tank or not vented). I would also look for a loose part (maybe the manifold) or a crack (in the manifold).

Staling 2002 Cub Cadet 2166 w/16 HP Kohler Command

I'll bet on the coil. If new coil doesn't fix the problem, it could be valve adjustment. When engine gets hot the valve clearance closes, and the valves don't seat. Engine cools down it starts and runs until hot again.

    BOOM!

In my opinion you did the right thing by not charging her. Now you have a happy customer which is better than a complaining customer.

    Dies After 45 Minutes Running

I had the exact same heat problem with my lawn mower. It was a flat head engine, not an OHV. It would run about 20 minutes and then shut off. It would not restart until it cooled off. I was told the valve seats were soft and over the years the valves would hammer the seats letting the valves...

25 hp kawasaki won't run full throttle after warmup.

How about rigging a temporary fuel line from portable tank to carb. That would eliminate some parts. My outboard motor on my boat would just die on me at times, but when I pumped the primer bulb it would start and run fine. I borrowed a buddy's portable gas tank and gas line for a test. Outboard...

Gravely ZT 1740 will not start

Your engine needs spark, gasoline, air, and compression to start. Combine these features with the correct timing and it will run. First I would do a compression check. Then check that the spark plug is sparking. Then I would take the choke off and squirt a little gas into the carb and try...

    Ignition problem

When I experienced a starting problem with my 20-year-old John Deere lawn tractor and the solenoid and ignition checked good I just purchased a spring loaded push button electrical switch and wired it between the battery and solenoid. Not kosher but now I just turn on the key and press the...
