Hello..
Lots of questions...
can anyone tell me a source for information on Clinton engines or Montgomery Wards Hoe Trac 2 wheel garden tractor. The machine has been sitting for 10-12 years- should I put a lubricant in the top end before I try to start it? will a pull starter off of a Briggs interchange? I noticed that the pull rope was a small diameter wire cable- good fix for breaking ropes? Are there any parts available for the Clinton?
ID numbers
Clinton- S/N 2774274 D; M/N D110 A26 B
Hoe Trac: SIM-L-I M/N 60547 Sold by Monky Wards

Any info would help
Thanks

the hoe trac is a pretty basic machine. I've owned a few over the years, and just recently picked up another. Lubricating the top end on any engine that has been sitting is always a good idea. I just remove the plug, and squirt a little oil in the cyl.
