During the times of the year when we get a lot of wet weather I realize how flat our property is. The water just sits on top of the ground if the ground is too saturated. Anyone else have that?

Hi Humpty

Yes there is a lot of land in Northeastern South Dakota that has been saturated and has been , from last year. Lot of farmers didn't get crops in the ground this year big pond in there fields. A lot of lakes on the east side of the state are full and ruin a lot of cabins on the lakes and homes it a mess up there. This has been and unusual year.

Our lot is flat but we have neighbors that have drop offs in their back yards. Strange topography right around me. I dread the rainy season though since the rain doesn't go anywhere but in puddles.
