There are so many sad songs but I think the saddest song I have heard recently is Carrie Underwood's - Just A Dream. I was a blubbering fool after hearing this song and watching the video. It makes me think of all those who have lost loved ones in war or just in general.

I thought of another sad song. It was originally done by Randy Travis but redone by Carrie Underwood. It's called "I told you so". It pulls at my heart strings every time I hear that song. Here is the link to it.

Hurt by Johnny Cash is one of the saddest songs I have ever heard. I could barely get through the video without the tears, just listen to the words, they are very powerful.
