Hallo eweryone,
I have an old G-150 engine with points. (Serial G150-1575716). I have no spark!
I have tried ewerything:
-New spark plug
-New ignition Coil with new condenser (under the flywheel type)
-New points. (points gap 0,02" = ~0,45mm)
Disconnected the kill switch, and the new condenser has no kill switch wiring!
Different combinations of old new parts. And still no spark.
I am confused,
1: MAybe the magneto is bad? 1 have a one magneto flyywheel. I dont know whats the main difference beethween 2 or 4 magneto fllyweels. MAybe the new condenser works only with flyweels with more magnetos? But the magneto feels strong.
2: Timing. I have an F mark on the flyywheel it is aligning with the bodys mark, at the same time the points are opening, maximum 0,02" = 0,5mm. Noting more can be set.
3: Maybe the new coils is also bad? I did not measure it. But i'll think it is working, it is brand new.
Can anyone help or had this kind of problem?
Any help are welcome!
Thanks a lot!
