I have a Z535 with a 48" deck, just for that reason, uneven yard. My buddy has the same mower with a 52" deck, so I would say, they are interchangeable.

I am going to be 66 this year and I awarded myself with my first NEW mower ever! IT's a JD Z535M, comes with a 4 year warranty. I cut my 1+ acre in less than half the time. :drink:
