My husband and I are done shovelling snow in Syracuse, NY where we live. So we've decided on buying a new snowblower. OK. He "insists" on buying only a Toro brand. Is this a good choice or should I argue with him for something else ?

My neighbor swears by Scott's lawn and garden products, but I've never had much luck with their items. Particularly the items for lawn care. Does anyone else feel the same either way ?

I have a six year old Toro self-propelled mower whose engine is completely gone. A friend of mine says he can put in a rebuilt engine for about $100. Is this wise, or do you think I should just bite the bullett and go buy a brand new mower ?

I've noticed that my lilac bushes tend to bloom in the spring for only about two to three weeks then just die out. Does anyone know of a method to prolong their bloom for longer into the summer ?

I've noticed by large garden of rose bushes is being infested with some king of pest (not sure which one; some kind of bug). Can anyone recommend a good pesticide for rose bushes ?
