It won't crank over, just hear a buzz sound when I turn the key to start. We can jump it off from another battery and it starts and runs fine, just won't crank on its own. Any advice? Thanks very much.

It will crank over, but not fire. I think I killed the battery riding grand daughter around the yard at low speed for 15 minutes. Hooked the jumper cables to it....it will crank, but not fire. Is there some simple elec problem that I can fix without hauling in to dealer? Thanks.

On my 01-11-2010 post on the seized Stihl engine, I got it freed up with the diesel fuel in the cylinder advice. I probably poured in too much(about 6 oz.) diesel because it came out from the muffler. I stood the saw up on end(bar down) for several hours to drain it out. The engine turns easily...

My son's fairly new Stihl MS270 chainsaw engine has seized. It got hot and began running/cutting poorly so he shut it off. A while later he tried to crank it, and it won't turn. He is using Stihl oil in the gas; however, after looking back into the owner manual I see it specifies 89 octane gas...

what causes the battery terminals to corrode so soon after being cleaned? Like within a couple weeks. And what can be done to prevent it? Thanks
