I just picked up a used Husqvarna yth2042 mower. It was made in 2006 and has 290 hours on it. After getting it home and driving it around the yard I have found that it is slower than other mowers I have driven. Could this be because of the drive belt being old? ( 5 years old) Also, videos...
Would you rather have a electric pto switch to engage your deck? Or just the good old lever? Is one better than the other? It seems to me that the electric pto is good intill it breaks. What do u think?
Ok i dont know the name of the weed eater or the model.
Theres a spark
Cleaned the carbuator
New gas
Made sure gas was getting to the carb
But still no start!!
I even tried using starting fluid.
What could be the problem?
I dont know the model number. But what is the cause of this?
A oil leak from the crankshaft..
Replaced the seal but same problem
Replaced the seal again but still problem
The new seals didnt even fix it at all.
What could be the cause?
The mower I am thinking about is a Husqvarna YTH20b42. It is a 2006 model but looks identical to the 2011 model. The guys says its been garage kept and it has 290 hours on it. Nothings wrong with it. I brought him down to $600. Should I take it?
I am sixteen and I am starting a lawn care businnes with my friend. We already have about 20 houses lined up for next year, so I am ready to buy my equipment. I am not going to buy a new lawn mower, so I have been looking at craigslist and have found some good deals but cant make up my mind...
