Hello Forum, Yes happy with my Hustler, but was getting ready in the next few weeks to pack my Hustler Fastrack SD 48" away for the winter. Came across this on the YouTube, & was wondering if anyone ever tried this, and has it helped...

I have used oil that is 15 yr old, in an old JD w/800hr. but found I needed to change it after 10 hr in stead of 50 hr. but free oil is free. Just went to pure synthetic after, lasted another 800 before it needed rings.

I have a 48" Hustler Fastrak SD, I clean each cut. It takes me 15min at max, wide blade scraper(2"min." a small tarp 3x5 with a 2x4 attached each side, roll it out and scrap with my lift. No do not get under it, use jacks. Cut dry grass, not wet but sum times you are stuck.

Only thing I will say, i believe the Hustler & JD have a "Hydro-Gear ZT2800 transmissions" It is a toss up but the build quality of the deck & frame is better with Hustler. I have the 2014 Fastrack SD with the honda & love it. Look at if the service has been done on both, if one has it done go...
