I have a bent driveshaft on my HRC216k3hxa, I plan to replace it with one from a parts donor machine, with leaking seals that need to be fixed, but it has 1000 hours on it, Sonia was planning to fix the new one later. How hard is it to replace just the main driveshaft?

I called all the dealers, and other than one place who told me 1150 on phone and tried charging me 1200, why can't I find one? Dealer keeps saying they are coming in but they don't know when...

Trying to set my throttle speed, and I picked up a DTI Fast Tach wireless tachometer. I can get it to 2000RPM but any more and engine surges. My tach is set at default to 1 spark per 1 rpm.

I ordered a replacement boot since mine is cracked and have no idea how this goes on. It looks like it has a screw molded into the part where the wire goes in... How do I remove the old one and install this new one? Edit: I called a different dealer and he told me how to change it. Sorry, mods...

Can you replace the choke lever on a Honda GCV160 carb? The one I got to replace old one is an autochoke, and this engine uses a manual choke. :frown: Can you swap the plastic choke lever?

I was wondering if someone, like Robert, can post pictures or part of the maintenance manual, on how to do this? I know clearance should be at 0.006" on intake and at 0.008" on the exhaust.

Can someone tell me how to do this? I am not in the mood to leave my Honda at the dealer to do something I feel I should be able to do myself.
