YMMV but I had a similar problem on my Hsqvarna LGT2654. Eventually I had to have a bracket re-welded on the deck. I had the welds improved and a backing plate added to each bracket. Probably best not to ignore it. The new ant-sway rod cost be 25 or 30 bucks
