Turned out I had a bad sensor on the parking brake, and a faulty PTO switch. All covered under warrant. Back in business. Thanks to all for the advice and suggestions!

Turned out it was a faulty PTO switch causing start up issues and a bad sensor on the parking brake.

Thanks for the info! I’ll post once the mower is retuned, hopefully with a solution to the problem.

I told the dealer originally I thought something was up with the PTO switch since it occasionally sticks. I’ll update the post once they return the mower. Thanks!

My Liberty Z with only 120 hours has developed an issue where it will not start up after i have cut my yard. Once I turn the engine off (after mowing for an hour) It is completely dead, no sound from ignition, nada. After about 48 hours it will start up again. My dealer had it for two weeks but...

P7K3, I did end up purchasing a bagger for my Liberty Z this summer. Wow is all I can say, it does an amazing job! Did a great job on the leaves this fall/winter as well. Could not be happier with the purchase. You were correct...I don't regret the purchase.

Question regarding octane/non-ethanol....there is only one gas station in my area which has non-ethanol gas, and it is 110 octane. Is that octane too high for my yard equipment (trimmer, blower, push mower, and ZT mower)? Or would I be better off just using a stabilizer with the regular gas?
