Bad Boy 6K ZT Elite - Kohler 7K series 747 blowing oil - running raggedly

Well I'm an idiot again. One of the spade connectors for the kill-switch for the right drive-arm had come loose; however, instead of falling completely away, it was held against the mating half by electrical tape. Just enough to be intermittent and hard to figure out. In the meantime while...

Bad Boy 6K ZT Elite - Kohler 7K series 747 blowing oil - running raggedly

Mike, did your left drive seem to squeak, or chirp or whine when you tried to go forward? Mines doing that, and the left drive is weak.

Berts, Thanks for the info. So a belt slipping might be the highest probability. So the tensioner could be acting up, or the belt is wore. 8 years old. yeah a lot of sites and posters call ZT drives transaxles. In honor of bud light i think. The differences with reverse is that the...

JBP's Bad Boy ZT Elite 60" 2015 Issue Thread

This mower has been fairly solid (knock wood) considering. I have a list of all issues to date at the bottom of this post. My current issue is the squeaking/chirping coming from the left transaxle assembly. This is accompanied by no, or low power on the left wheel drive. This is much louder...
