Wow I was afraid of that due to having problems in the past with Amazon. Well I guess I will go to the dealer and order some. Thanks so much bertsmobile1 I'm now working on a BG 86 that the bull in the china shop has gotten a hold of and missing a lot of parts.

Has anybody bought parts for a Stihl from Amazon? I've got a BG 86 that is missing some parts and was wondering if they are as good and cheaper as the Stihl parts from the dealer?

Ok took the exhaust screen out and it was packed. cleaned it up with some gas and a wire brush and the trimmer works fine. Thank You Lawn Pro for providing me that valuable info and have a great day!!

Ok I'm back!! I have my step daughters weed eater and I have cleaned the air and fuel filter, checked and cleaned the spark plug and regapped it.You can start it but it doesn't run well kinda like an idle but shakes and then dies. Do you think it's a dirty carb or do I need to readjust the carb...

Yes they are very protective of how they do things I think I'm going to have to take it to the shop. My bet is the solenoid is not telling the carb what to do? Maybe that is the way to go. It's just like the new cars can't work on them unless you have a computer!!!!

I can get the saw to max speed when starting it cold with the choke the problem is it will not start after it is warmed up or has ran a while.

Well just found this out a while ago

There is no adj on the carb it is all controlled by the solenoid and Stihl has a special meter to adj things that I do not have.

Well I thought either to lean or water. But still there's the problem of not starting when it is hot. I'm going to dump the fuel and put new fuel in. My wife's son-in law has had this saw for over a year and he said it wasn't running very good???? Imagine that!
