I picked up an old MTD mower. Model #110436r045/e100c4. I took off the fuel bowl and the bolt that held it in was not a jet just a bolt. Is this right? Thanks!

So this one baffles me. I have a newer Lawn Boy that idles really high when you start it up. Tecumseh engine.I have checked linkages and went through the carb. It seems to get better once it warms up. If I hold the primer bulb down it seems to lower the rpm as well. The governor looks like it is...
