There's definitely an issue with that when disengaged in my opinion. The belt doesn't stay in contact with the tension/idler pulley. It jumps off when engaging the drive so that's the area I'm focusing on.
My seat has dry rotted and is crumbling apart. If anyone has a good used one I'd certainly be interested in it. The steering wheel center blew off of it going down the road. I suspect someone had fiddled with it. Need one of those if you have one.
