Raptor SD 54 inch drive belt keeps coming off

The supposed new brackets I received looked just like the old brackets.Headed to the dealer next week for more repairs related to the frame cracked and broken along with the gas tank side fender. Bought a 125 Kubota today so my headache is soon to be over. After warranty work it will sit at the...

Raptor SD 54 inch drive belt keeps coming off

The bolt and nut set up from the factory has a self locking design that digs in past the paint anyway. The ridges under the bolt head flange and on the nut cut in to the metal.

Raptor SD 54 inch drive belt keeps coming off

We still have the old LT1000 Craftsman and I am happy not to have traded it of when the Raptor 54sd was purchased. Other than a drive and deck belt no issues. Even spindles are original. I would avoid the Raptor line. It has had issues for years and still not redesigned or engineered to address them. Excell is of little help when trying to get a permanent repair. You will get more blame for the poorly designed frame breaking. Hydro belts thrown and poor deck design. At least...

    New Hustler Group

Remove your deck belt from clutch and see if your clutch bearings move freely. How old is the mower and what model?

Broken hydro mounts that have not been addressed by Excell, Huslter or Big Dog Just replaced 6 of the hydro mounts on mine and then found the battery tray broken and seat crossmember is cracked. 2018 Raptor 54sd Deck has isues with the idler pulley...
