Pto will not engage. Replaced fuses and switch. Whats next?

I was mowing this past week and had to get off mower to remove a tree limb that was in yard. When i got back onmower and tried to engage pto again it would not do anything. So i tried replacing fuses and pto switch and still nothing.Any body got any suggestions on what to do next.
