Mine, a Weed Eater Briggs Quatro, won't start (even when warmed up) unless I hit it with ether. Then it runs great. Suggestions, please!

My 15 yo Husky runs well until it stalls mid-lawn. It will restart after sitting for 20-30 minutes and run a while longer, stalling again. Advice, please! Thanks! Chuck
