Does anyone know the brand / type of oil recommended by hustler for the Parker drive motors? I thought it was 5w50 but not sure which is why I'm asking. I have changed it before but honestly I don't remember what I used. (just turned 75 so I'm allowed). (;

Have a continual slow leak in one of my front tires, found a piece of thin wire in the sidewall. While trying to get the tire off to patch it, I frigged up the bead (wire showing). So, looking for recommendations for replacements. Dont want solid tires.

Only have a little over 50 hrs on this mower. Just changed the oil, new plugs, gas filter. Lately every time I go to start it, I end up having to spray starting fluid in the carb just to get it started. If I don't, I end up running the battery near down and can't figure out what is wrong...

Can't find Kawasaki oil locally. What brands are you running in your kawa engines?

While mowing today, I got tangled up in a pear tree ( ROPS ) which was in the down position. The hand knob on the ROPS was bent and after googling to find a replacement, to get one shipped to my location, it would cost $30.00. Now come on folks, we are talking about a damn bolt with a plastic...

I was a little surprised when I found out the size of the blade bolts on the x1i. I don't know why but I was expecting 3/4 or something in that size range. Come to find out it is 5/8". :confused3::confused3::confused3: Goes to show you, " Size doesn't matter" :laughing:

What is the preferred method / materials to effectively clean an old mower up. As is in cleaning the gunk of the engine, and such. I am trying to salvage my BIL (passed away last april) craftsman mower and want to clean it up. Any help will be appreciated.

Is it normal for an engine to smoke a little during startup? Engine is on a Hustler X1i 2014 model with 2 hrs on it.

Just curious, since both are made by the same company, what if any differences there are. I looked at the online info and I can't see any visible differences other than the paint job.

Went out to start the truck this morning and saw this on my hood. Wonderous to say the least.

What do you use to get your mower up so you can change blades, etc. Is a mojack the preferred tool or is there other alternatives?
