I just broke the Yanmar engine fan belt and would like to know whats the easiest way to remove the driveshaft to install a new fan belt. Any suggestions greatly appreciated. Thank you.

I do not know the model outlay but it does not sound right that you have to remove a drive shaft to replace the belt what does the owners manual say

After many tedious hours of work it was discovered the easiest way to change the radiator fan belt was to drain the cooling system and remove the radiator to access and remove the the engine coupler to the driveshaft in order to slip the new fan belt under the engine pully. What a bitch of a job to change a fan belt. But it is working again.
